THE COLLECTION
What is the Masters of Madness collection?
Masters of Madness is a collection of limited-edition collectible statues dedicated to the founding fathers of literary horror — the authors who defined a genre capable of influencing not only literature, but the culture, art, and thought of entire generations. Each chapter honors a selected writer for the impact of their work on the world: not merely as a storyteller, but as a voice that transformed humanity's deepest fears into enduring literature.
How many chapters are planned?
The collection comprises three chapters:
- Chapter I — H.P. Lovecraft (available now)
- Chapter II — Mary Shelley (in development)
- Chapter III — Bram Stoker (in development)
Why did you choose these three authors specifically?
Each represents a different dimension of horror — and of humanity itself.
H.P. Lovecraft brought to the page the corruption of the mind: cosmic horror, the inability of human intellect to comprehend what surrounds it. His paranoia was not merely literary — it was his vision of the world, infused into creatures and mythologies that still today define an entire culture.
Mary Shelley explored the desire for creation and its limits. Frankenstein is not the story of a monster: it is the story of a man who wanted to play God, and discovered what it means to be unable to manage what you create. Shelley was eighteen years old when she wrote the novel that would found modern science fiction. Ambition, guilt, the creator's solitude — themes that have never ceased to be relevant.
Bram Stoker embodied the seduction of power. Dracula is not simply a vampire: it is a meditation on control, on immortality, on the dark fascination that figures of power exert over those around them. Stoker lived for years in the shadow of Henry Irving, the most charismatic actor of the Victorian era — and in Dracula many scholars read that relationship: a man observing power up close, understanding its seduction and danger, and transforming it into immortal literature.
Doesn't the horror collectibles market already provide space for these subjects?
No — and that is precisely why Studio Everart exists. The market is filled with statues of Cthulhu, Frankenstein, Dracula. No one has done the same for the people who wrote those stories. The monster is known, not the mind that invented it. We make statues of the authors — the people who sat alone and invented the fears that still follow us. It is a completely different object.
Are the chapters aesthetically connected to one another?
Yes. Each chapter follows the same structure: diorama statue in 1/10 scale, a secondary object specific to the author's narrative world, and a limited-edition art print created by an Italian comic artist. The formal coherence is deliberate — the three pieces together form a recognizable collection, not three separate products.
Will you only produce statues in the future?
The statues remain the heart of the project. Over time, the goal is to expand the catalog with products designed for true collectors — people who love the subjects and stories we put in resin, not the casual collector. Details on future projects we announce when we are ready.
THE PRODUCTS
What does each chapter of the collection include?
Each chapter is a complete bundle:
- Hand-painted polystone diorama statue, 1/10 scale
- Secondary object linked to the author's narrative world
- Limited-edition art print signed by an Italian comic artist
- Numbered Certificate of Authenticity
What does Chapter I — H.P. Lovecraft Forbidden Edition include?
A hand-painted polystone statue (42 cm) with two interchangeable portrait heads, a scaled replica of the Necronomicon (12 cm), a 30×40 cm art print by Francesco Manna, and a numbered Certificate of Authenticity numbered from 1 to 100.
Who is Francesco Manna?
Francesco Manna is an Italian comic artist who has worked for Marvel, DC, Image Comics, and Dynamite Entertainment on titles including Amazing Spider-Man, Avengers, Captain Marvel, Fantastic Four, and The Rise of Ultraman. His art print is an integral part of the Forbidden Edition bundle — not a generic accessory, but an original work conceived for this project.
What is the Interchangeable Portrait?
The Forbidden Edition includes two interchangeable portrait heads: one depicting Lovecraft as he appeared historically, one interpreting him through his own mythology — the Dreamer confronting what he has written. Both are included and swap without tools.
What material is the statue made from?
High-density polystone — the same material used by the finest collectible studios in the world. It maintains extreme detail, resists yellowing over time, and has a weight and finish that standard PVC and resin cannot replicate. Each piece is hand-painted by professional artists.
What are the exact dimensions of the Lovecraft statue?
Height: 42 cm (16.5 in). Base dimensions: 23.2 × 26.6 cm. Weight: approximately 3.5–4 kg. 1/10 scale.
Who created the Lovecraft statue?
Sculpted by Giacinto Platania, painted by Simona Bordonaro. Both names are documented in the Certificate of Authenticity included with each piece.
Is every statue truly hand-painted?
Yes. Every single piece is painted by hand individually. No two pieces are identical — the artist's hand leaves a mark on each one.
What does the Certificate of Authenticity include?
The edition number (e.g., 47/100), the signatures of the artists, the year of production, and the seal of Studio Everart. Printed on premium paper, included in the presentation box.
Is the certificate transferable in case of resale?
Yes. The certificate accompanies the piece, not the original purchaser. In case of resale, it guarantees authenticity to the new owner.
What is the Necronomicon included in the bundle?
A scaled replica of the Necronomicon — the central artifact of Lovecraftian mythology — created to scale with the statue. It is not a generic decorative accessory: it is an object specifically designed for this chapter, consistent with the statue's 1/10 scale.
Is the Necronomicon sold separately?
Currently it is available only as part of the Forbidden Edition bundle. Subscribe to the newsletter for updates.
Is the art print signed?
Yes. The art print is by Francesco Manna and is part of the numbered bundle. Details on the signature are indicated in the product card.

THE BRAND
Who is Studio Everart?
Studio Everart is an Italian studio based in Parete (Caserta). We are collectors who built what we could not find on the market: premium limited-edition statues that honor the authors of literary horror — not their creatures, not film adaptations. The authors themselves.
Why the authors and not the characters?
The market is filled with statues of Cthulhu, Dracula, Frankenstein. None of them honor the mind that created those stories. We make statues of writers — the people who sat alone and invented the monsters that still follow us. It is a completely different object. It is what we could not find, and what we built.
Do you use licensed IP?
No. All subjects — H.P. Lovecraft, Mary Shelley, Bram Stoker — are in the public domain. We own our intellectual property 100%. No royalties, no licensing dependence. That is why our promise to collectors — no reprints, no compromises — is permanent.
Who are the artists you collaborate with?
We work with a select team of Italian professionals — the best in their field. The Lovecraft statue is the work of Giacinto Platania (sculpture) and Simona Bordonaro (painting). The art print is by Francesco Manna, an Italian comic artist who has worked for Marvel and DC. Masters of Madness is a collection Designed in Italy.

How can I contact you?
Email: info@studioeverart.com — we respond within 24–48 hours on business days.
CARE AND CONSERVATION
How should I display the statue?
Indoor display, away from direct sunlight, high humidity, and extreme temperature fluctuations. A glass case is ideal for long-term conservation.
How do I clean the statue?
Soft dry or slightly damp cloth — microfiber is ideal. No chemical cleaners, no abrasive materials. For dust in the finest details, a soft brush with natural bristles is risk-free.
Does the statue maintain its value over time?
We cannot make investment promises. What we can say: limited editions of 100 pieces, with documented artists and certificates of authenticity, historically maintain or increase in value on the secondary market when the edition closes and the brand consolidates. The mechanisms are there. The rest depends on the market.
Can I resell my statue?
Yes. Your numbered piece is yours. We encourage you to register it with us to maintain an accurate record of the secondary market.
